there are a lot of really good small businesses doing really good work — and you’d never know it from Googling them.

Not because the business isn’t good.

Because running the business usually comes first.

That’s where I come in.

Turns out, common sense is a surprisingly useful marketing strategy.

My background has always lived at the intersection of people, business, operations, marketing and creative problem-solving.

I’ve worked inside businesses, helped build systems, created brands and content, and built my own small-business projects from the ground up.

What I kept noticing was the same thing: great businesses often don’t need more complicated marketing.

They need someone to look at what they’re doing, figure out what actually matters and make it work better.
